About the partnership
Our long-term partnership began with Sir Robert McAlpine’s initial involvement with Maggie’s Swansea, where they constructed the award-winning centre at the Singleton Hospital, designed by Kisho Kurakawa.
Since Maggie’s Swansea, they have been involved in overseeing the construction of Maggie’s at The Christie in Manchester, and Maggie’s Barts, Maggie's at The Royal Marsden, Maggie’s Yorkshire, Maggie’s Southampton, Maggie’s Wirral and Maggie’s at the Royal Free (in construction).
Sir Robert McAlpine committed to raising £1million for us over ten years and have hit their target ahead of schedule.
Employees have also supported our fundraising initiatives and taken part in our Miles for Maggie’s and Kitchen Table Day events, as well as sponsoring our flagship Christmas Carol Concert.
We are thrilled to continue our work with Sir Robert McAlpine as they celebrate marking their £1million milestone in 2022, and we are looking forward to the new phase of our charity partnership.
