Abseil for Maggie's Royal Marsden

We are delighted to have partnered with Hatt Adventures to put on adrenaline-fuelled event to help you reach new heights in support of Maggie's Royal Marsden.

The challenge starts by climbing Guildford Cathedral's bell tower spiral staircase of 249 steps to a height of 160ft (50m). At the top and during your thrilling abseil descent, you will enjoy wonderful panoramic views of Guildford and Surrey.

Participant Restrictions

Minimum Age – 14 years (must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).

There is no maximum age, but a doctor's medical note may be required in some circumstances. Please contact our fundraising team for guidance.

Maximum Weight – 100 kg (16 stone).

Medical Issues – If you are in any doubt as to your medical ability to abseil, please contact our fundraising team before registering.

Pregnant women are advised not to take part in this activity.
