Accessibility

We have built our site to be as accessible to users as possible. We've designed it in accordance with guidelines laid down by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). This site aims to be fully compliant with all the guidelines.

Designing with all users in mind

We are always looking for ways to improve our website and make it easier to use. We have tried to:

  • Use meaningful ALT text for all images and hyperlinks to provide descriptive text
  • Avoid the use of frames, which are difficult for special browsers to interpret
  • Use an easier to read non-serif font type and size that will scale when you make the text bigger

We are also working hard to make sure our site has useful content that is laid out in an easy-to-navigate way, so that you can find what you are looking for.

We have taken into consideration people with speech readers.

Increasing the text size

If you find the text on the site appears too small for you to read, you can customise your browser to make the text larger.

Choose View, then Text Size and select Medium, Larger or Largest (in Internet Explorer), or in Firefox choose View, Text Size, then Increase or Decrease.
