About Maggie's Groningen 

Maggie’s Groningen is situated in a park along a watercourse, near the north side of the University Medical Centre in Groningen. The centre opened in April 2024. 

The centre was designed by Marlies Rohmer Architects & Urbanist with landscaping designed by internationally renowned landscape architect Piet Oudolf.

Awards

Recently, Maggie's Groningen was awarded joint first prize winner in the Groningen Architecture Award, recognised for its outstanding architecture and design, along with a second prize awarded by the public jury. 

The centre has also won Care Building of the Year, awarded by Architectenweb.
