Scamp & Dude launches new collection to inspire people with cancer

Wednesday 19 November 2025

The women's clothing brand has the motto 'transforming fashion into a force for good', and will donate a percentage of every sale of the collection to Maggie's.

The message 'You got this' features on each item in the Scamp & Dude x Maggie's collection and is inspired by the friendship between the founders of the brand, Jo and Charlotte, after Charlotte was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

Scamp & Dude will donate £13 from every sweatshirt, £8 from every T-shirt, and £7 from every bag sold in the collection to Maggie’s, helping to ensure that Maggie's can continue to offer the same warmth and support that carried Charlotte and her family through their darkest moments.

  • Oversized sweatshirt: £60.00
  • T-shirt: £45.00
  • Swag Bag: £30.00

A story founded in friendship

Jo and Charlotte have been best friends since they were 19. They’ve shared every chapter of their lives; the laughter, the memories and the milestones.

But in 2024, their worlds shifted when Charlotte was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.  For Jo, the news was devastating. For Charlotte, it was a moment that changed everything. Suddenly, life was unpredictable, yet, through it all, one message remained her anchor.

When Charlotte began treatment, her husband Tom gave her a card that read: “You've got this”, which she kept in sight every single day.

Those words became her mantra to help her through when the fear crept in, when the pain felt overwhelming, and when she needed a reminder that she could face another day.

Finding light at Maggie’s

During her treatment, Charlotte discovered her nearest Maggie’s at The Royal Marsden in Sutton.

When I first walked into Maggie’s, something in me relaxed.

Charlotte recalls: “It didn’t feel clinical or unfamiliar and instead offered me the perfect environment where I could access all the information I needed. The team took me in and gave me space to breathe, to cry, to ask questions.

“They were there for Tom too, helping him through therapy when it all felt too much. Maggie’s became our safe place, somewhere that made everything I felt and often feared bearable.”

In May 2025, Charlotte received the all-clear, only to discover later that the cancer had spread. “I was on my own when I got the news. After my appointment, I sat in the car and cried,” she says. “And the first thing I did was call Maggie’s. The pull was immediate.

I just needed to be somewhere that felt safe. And for me that was Maggie’s.

Giving back with a message of hope

Moved by Charlotte’s journey and by the comfort Maggie’s provided, Jo and Charlotte decided to create something that could give back, not just proceeds, but hope.

Together, they’ve designed the Scamp & Dude x Maggie’s collection: a T-shirt, Sweatshirt and Swag Bag that each carry the three words that are meaningful to them: “You got this”.

Each piece in the collection also carries symbols representing love, luck and resilience, woven in from Charlotte and Jo’s friendship:

  • the four-leaf clover, inspired by the necklace Jo gave Charlotte at the start of treatment, a symbol of hope and protection.
  • the shooting star as a reminder that even in darkness, light always finds a way through.

Fashion with purpose

For Jo Tutchener Sharp, Founder and CEO Scamp & Dude, this collaboration is personal.

“Watching someone you love face cancer changes you forever,” she says. “You want to do something, anything to help, to take away their pain, to make their world just a bit kinder.

“This collaboration is about that, and about what it means to show up for your people. It’s about love, strength, and saying: no matter how hard this gets, you’ve got this.

The Scamp & Dude x Maggie’s “You Got This” collection will be available online at scampanddude.com and in Scamp & Dude stores nationwide, including Marlow, Cambridge, Battersea Power Station and Brighton.
