Feedback and Complaints
We really value hearing about your experience of Maggie’s centres.
If you have any feedback or concerns on our support for people with cancer, our fundraising, or other aspects of our work, we’d like to hear about it. We value the opportunity this gives to learn and improve.
Ways you can share feedback
We encourage you to share any feedback, good or bad, with us. And if you see something of a serious nature, we want to know about it.
To make a complaint or to share any feedback:
- Speak to our staff or volunteers at our centres, offices, or at events
- Call us on 0300 123 1801, 9 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year)

Complaint related to Maggie's Weekly Lottery
If your complaint is related to the Maggie’s Weekly Lottery, please follow the procedure set out in Section 13 of our Weekly Lottery Terms and Conditions
Timescales
We aim to acknowledge receipt of your complaint within two working days and – wherever possible – look to resolve it to your satisfaction within ten working days.
If for any reason we can't meet these timescales, we will be in touch and let you know why.
Should you require our response to be in an accessible format, such as large print, please let us know when you raise your issue with us.
Complaint resolved
If you are happy with how we have dealt with your concerns, then we will close the complaint; if not, however, you can contact us at complaints@maggies.org and we will aim to acknowledge this within two working days and respond within ten working days.
Complaint unresolved
In the unlikely event that we are still unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, then:
- For non-fundraising complaints, you can refer to OSCR, the Scottish Charity Regulator, or
- For fundraising complaints, you can follow the procedures set out by the independent Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel
Please note there may be rare occasions where we may decline to respond to a complaint, such as where a matter is unrelated to Maggie’s, cases where the complainant is rude, abusive or hostile towards our staff or volunteers, where the complaint is made anonymously or for cases where we feel we have done everything we can to resolve the matter.
