Thank you so much for your interest in running for us at the Great Manchester Run 2020. The Great Manchester Run half marathon and 10k are the greatest running events in Manchester for a reason.

Applications are now open and we would love you to join Team Maggie's!

With your incredible support we can continue to help people with cancer and their families. Every year we see so many people visit our centres and we'd like to thank amazing people like you who help us to be there for each and every one of our visitors.

Date: Sunday 24 May 2020 to Sunday 24 May 2020

Where: Manchester

Sponsorship target: Half Marathon: £250 10K: £200

How to join our team

Apply for one of our charity places

We'll choose the runners we feel will raise the most money for Maggie's so please enter as much detail as possible when you apply online to increase your chances of being chosen.

If you're successful, we'll ask you to raise a minimum of £250 for the half marathon and £200 for the 10k run. There's no registration fee for either distance.

Already got your own place?

If you've already got your own place, we'd love to have you on our team. Please let us know if you’d like to run for us.

How we’ll support you

All of our runners get:

  • a Maggie’s running vest to wear on race day
  • fundraising and training support leading up to the event
  • cheers of encouragement along the route from us
