We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cancer Support Specialist to join the team at our Nottingham centre on 0.6 FTE basis (22.5 hours per week).
You will have a warm empathic manner and enthusiasm and willingness to develop skills of providing cancer support in an innovative programme that integrates contributions from a range of professional disciplines.
You will have a nursing degree (or equivalent training), current state registration and at least three years' post-qualification experience within an oncology nursing or related setting. A post-graduate qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous.
You will be emotionally sensitive yet resilient, organised, and able to manage the demands of ongoing emotionally intense work.
